[edit]what
How do you edit the list of shorthand systems? They are in a grid, but the grid does not show up when you press edit. I want to include Keyscript Shorthand. Thank you, Cassyjanek (talk) 16:36, 19 March 2013 (UTC)Cassyjanek
- I don't know what the problem is on your end; there isn't a transcluded template or anything, and the table code is all visible for me. VanIsaacWS Vexcontribs 23:00, 19 March 2013 (UTC)
Thanks Vanisaac, at first I had the references instead of the main body. I managed to do it finally by using other entries as a template, but I obviously did not get the date in the right place. Cassyjanek (talk) 18:16, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
Caton
[edit]Added link to Caton Scientific Shorthand, but Thomas Jasper Caton jumped into the wrong column: Most grateful if anyone can fix this RPSM (talk) 07:10, 30 January 2015 (UTC)
Isaac Strange Dement's Aristography
[edit]How do you enter things into this table? Haven't found the template yet to do tables.
Here is another system:

Column for examples
[edit]It would be cool if we could add a column for an example of each system. Perhaps how each system would write "Wikipedia". Krubo (talk) 21:15, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
Stolze
[edit]Just ran into this. Note the second name.: "The stenographic methods adopted and adapted in Russia mostly came from Germany : the main contenders were the systems of the Bavarian Franz Xaver Gabelsberger (1789‑1849) and the Prussian Wilhelm Stolze (1798‑1867)." Non European/Western languages
[edit]Are there shorthand systems for nonwestern languages? Or would/should they be listed in a different article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Awelotta (talk • contribs) 23:28, 10 December 2020 (UTC)
- The Shorthand article mentions systems for Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Chinook Jargon but I don't know any more about them than what is already on Wikipdia. 2601:441:4400:1740:A58F:9116:857A:AB26 (talk) 17:45, 31 January 2022 (UTC)
